I have another passion besides scrapbooking and stamping and that is books! I have always loved books and need to give proper credit to my parents for sharing their love of reading, most especially to my dad. He came to this country not knowing english, and fell in love with the language. I always saw him reading something, whether it be a newspaper, magazine, or a book. During the summer, he would take my sister and I to the local library and we were allowed to wander freely, while he did the same. I spent so many hours there just browsing through several bookshelves and sitting on a comfy beanbag. It was a place for me to dream about the stories that I would read and to pretend that I was one of the characters. Fast forward to this day and I am still in love with books! I have my own library collection now and I am always finding myself wandering in the local library, bookstore or even out in the thrift stores on the hunt for another old or new read.
