Katie Orse is a busy mom, wife to a former Special Ops. Airman, papercraft artist, author, and entrepreneur. She got her start 9 years ago with a direct sales scrapbooking company (Close To My Heart) where she quickly rose to become one of their top consultants.
She earned several company achievement awards, including Top Recruiter for 6 consecutive years and also had her scrapbooking work published. Her love of scrapbooking naturally extended itself to other craft related fields such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cooking as well.

How did it actually all begin?
Katie had just signed up to join a scrapbooking direct sles company, but then
the devastating events of Sept. 11, 2001 occured. Her husband was sent to an undisclosed location. She thought about quitting the scrapbooking business because it was going to be difficult with the year long deployment & raising 3 small children alone. At the time the kids were ages 5, 4, and 2 and the 4 yr. old little boy was quite a handful. But her husband suggested she continue on with her life as if nothing were to happen.
Fast forward and in 2010, Katie left Close To My Heart to begin her own company, Katie Orse, LLC along with her husband by her side. He continues to help with business, designing, packaging, you name it.
Katie grew up in Cerritos, California and has been fortunate to have lived in several areas including New Mexico, Iceland, and Florida. She now resides in Florida with her husband of 16 years and their 4 children.
